Front desk was very polite, helpful. The rooms are better now than they were with previous owner. The $50 deposit was knew but totally understand, was returned to me soon as checked out. Would recommend staying here. Alex was a huge help.

Check in was easy and the rooms a very spacious. The only disappointment was the free breakfast. There was no fresh cooked food. There was cereal, muffins and bread with coffee, orange juice and milk.

It has been a great stay here thanks to Jay at the front! Today makes week number two of our stay and to have such a large studio suite with a separate living room/ kitchen area from where the beds are and two flat screen tvs, a legitimate FULL refrigerator at this price you can't complain. The new renovation is beautiful and at this price point you can't ask for better, I am a traveling welder and have stayed at most of the extended stays in the area, this is a night and day difference and a breath of fresh air. Very nice newly paved parking lot as well!

Let me just start with it was a long day. We walk in to the front desk his name is Alex remember that he was just so rude and unfriendly I already didn’t want to stay just by talking to him but we needed a place to sleep. He was not helpful at all. So our first room was horrible we pulled out the pullout bed it had not been cleaned looks like they just folded it up after the people before us had left so I was like cool I will just go get us a different room remind you it is 1:00 am. We get to the next room it is just up the hall and it is even worse it had piss and hotdogs rolled up in the pullout I go back and Alex says if you don’t like it take your money and just leave. We showed him pictures and he acted like that was supposed to be like that. They get zero stars I mean this place is the worst. Pictures below.

The staff here is very kind and understanding, and they work hard at making sure the customers experience is a good one. The rooms are not only clean, spacious, and convenient, but they are very affordable as well. Due to life's circumstances and unexpected situations I have to currently live in a hotel, and it has been hard for many reasons. However Home Towne Studios has really helped take some stress away and I'm very grateful that I found them. I would recommend anyone to stay here, it's the best in Richmond especially for the low prices you pay and the service you are provided with

Booked a reservation this past weekend for just 2 nights and was turned away & discriminated against due to my service animal the rude front desk agent stated they couldn’t take my pet at the HomeTowne Studio suites but can stay at the other building but online it says ESA & Service animals are welcome to all Red Roof properties with no additional charge the agent name was Nick he was extremely unprofessional and rude very nonchalant I asked him why does the website says all service pets are welcome at all locations but when you check in you’re told otherwise and what’s the difference between both locations why one can accept service animals but the other can’t & why the website say a completely different thing being denied service due to a service animal is against the law & Nick should lose his job for discrimination after reading previous I’m actually glad I didn’t stay as this location has multiple pest problems no reliable house keeping & is dirty definitely reaching out to corporate about the discrimination against my service animal

The room was decent yet found out it had bugs was really crazy I worked nights every morning coming in I smelled weed smelled like mold in the hall way if it wasn't for house keeping they wouldn't have got a star they were the best they should be at a 5 star hotel

This place was horrible. The room smelled like human feces on top of that. They wanted a $50 deposit. I felt like they should have paid me a deposit who stayed there.
